So there I was, minding my own business. Just me, my imaginary friends and the books. I had quite the prodigious appetite, even as a kid, when it came to the written word. Then the muse hits me and BAM! Before I even hit my double digits, I knew I wanted to be a writer. While most of my friends were chilling with Barbie's and doing the double dutch, yours truly was busy creating worlds in her head. 

Torie is the "other" voice of me, Teri McGlade, brought to life before she was even ten years old but given a voice in her teen years finally. . I've always loved reading since I could hold a book (just ask my mother!) and writing is just a natural extent of that for me. One of my fave quotes is "If you haven't read a book yet about something you want, then WRITE it".

I write every single day, in one form of another. Whether it's poetry, a short story, fantasy role play or working on my novel. I don't write to live..I LIVE to write.
